October 31, 2008, Deerfield Beach, FL – The producers of The Economic Report are pleased to announce that Health Source Chiropractic will be featured in an upcoming episode as part of the show’s series on Best Franchise Concepts for the 21st Century.
Chiropractic, a health care profession founded in the 1890s, focuses on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system with special emphasis on the spine. In 1898, Daniel David Palmer began teaching a few students at his new Palmer College of Chiropractic. While Dr. Palmer founded chiropractic, it was his son, Dr. B.J. Palmer that took over the school in 1906 and rapidly expanded its enrollment, helping to expand the practice into the early 20th century.
Dr. Chris Tomshack, founder and CEO of HealthSource Chiropractic, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Palmer College of Chiropractic and Cum Laude from Ohio University. Shortly after graduation, he opened his first practice in Vermilion, Ohio. Incorporating proven, systematized treatment procedures and operating protocols, combined with an incredible team, Dr. Tomshack soon became the busiest practice in his area.
After opening up three additional successful practices, Dr. Tomshack realized that he and his team had put together some of the most progressive treatment protocols and business systems ever introduced into chiropractic. In April of 2006, Dr. Tomshack launched HealthSource Chiropractic to provide a true franchise opportunity to other chiropractors.
In a short time, HealthSource has become the fastest growing franchise business and opportunity in chiropractic, as well as the largest chiropractic franchise in the world today and have help to build many successful, thriving practices across the country.
“Healthcare is changing very rapidly today and it takes clearly defined organization coupled with outstanding treatment and business systems to thrive,” said Dr. Chris Tomshack. “To generate long term success, we must always ask ourselves, ‘what is best for the patient?’ and then we must deliver that treatment in a caring and supportive fashion, all the while providing an incredible experience for our patients.”
